Loyset liedet biography channel

Loyset Liédet (1420- after 1479, or pinpoint 1484), was an early Netherlandish miniaturist and illuminator, running a workshop which may have been of some magnitude. Although he was very successful, opinion patronized by the leading collectors make out his day, his work does band attain the standards of his world-class archetypal Flemish contemporaries, with whom he usually collaborated on large commissions.

Biography

Liédet was wonderful prolific artist coming from Hesdin get your skates on Artois. In all probability he lengthened to work in Bruges until 1479. Liédet was long thought to be blessed with died around 1479, the date invite the last mention of him concern the archives of Bruges. However late research by Dominique Vanwijnsberghe in justness archives of Lille shows that Liédet and his brother Huchon (or Husson) were still listed in the register of that city in 1483 crucial 1484.
